Some Forestry Car Parks to Reopen

Natural Resources Wales have announced that they are to begin a phased approach to car park re-opening from Wednesday 15th June.

Cefn Farm and Esgair Fwyog car parks are planned to be reopened later this week. The larger Brynffo and Halfway car parks are to remain closed.

The Welsh Government guidance on only travelling up to 5 miles for outdoor recreation still applies.

Clare Pillman, CEO of Natural Resources Wales said: “we encourage visitors to respect one another and the local community by observing social distancing guidelines and protect the natural environment by following the countryside code.”

During the lock down there has been a fair bit of felling which is due to be completed in the next couple of weeks. Please observe all forestry signs and keep away from forestry operations.
